My name is Mr. Peralta and I am a teacher at MS67 in Queens. This year I am teaching accelerated 6th grade math and 8th grade algebra. The students at MS67 are pretty great.

I was born and raised in Ohio. For college, I moved to D.C. and graduated from Georgetown University with a math degree. My goal as a teacher is for students to feel that math can be interesting. They don’t have to love math (but if they do, great). They just need to see that anyone can be good at math with enough effort and that mathematical thinking is a great way to approach all types of problems, even non-mathematical ones.

On a side note, here are my two cats.
