9/7 – Welcome!

Tonight’s HW will be about taking care of business that will help us throughout the year.  Each assignment will be worth 5 points on Skedula.

  1. Follow the directions below to sign up for an EDPuzzle account.  This will be due on Monday, Sept. 11
  2. Follow the directions below to sign up for Delta Math. This will be due on Monday, Sept. 11
  3. Carefully read the syllabus. Then go to this Google Form to have you and your parent digitally sign the syllabus. Due Friday, Sept 15.

Directions to Sign Up for Ed Puzzle

Step 1: Click on one of the links based on your class

Step 2: Click “Sign Up”

Step 3: Fill out your real first and last name. No nicknames please

Step 4: Create a username and password. Write it down immediately in the first page of your notebook!

Directions to Register for Delta Math

Step 1: Go to www.deltamath.com

Step 2: Go to Create Account – Student

Step 3: Input 792385 as the student code. Make sure Mr. Peralta comes up.

Step 4: Select your class. Use your full first and last name

Step 5: Create a username and password and immediately write it down in your notebook.  It’s probably best to use the same username and password as EDPuzzle.

Step 6: Complete the first assignment (10 questions).  Do your best but you will not be graded on correctness (mainly, because I wasn’t your 7th grade teacher).

I will send and post Word and Powerpoint files throughout the year. If you do not have these, you can create a Microsoft account and use Microsoft Office Live to freely view them. Use this link: https://office.live.com/start/Word.aspx
